Feast of St. Boniface  (New, Trad)

Greetings GenChrist,

This Sunday, Deacon Pieter VanRooyen will be leading the meditation at our hour of Adoration.

This Sunday is
Trinity Sunday, when the Church focuses on the mystery of the Holy Trinity in a special way.  Consider making a personal profession of the Athanasian Creed, which is named for the sainted Bishop of Alexandria - not because he wrote it - but because it shares his incisiveness and clarity in addressing the profound mystery of our triune God.

Please see below for information on upcoming events of interest.

In Christ,
Paul Schultz

Generation Christ Communications Coordinator

Scythian Concert at The Ark!

Contact: Kirsten Raab
wtcgjh at gmail dot com

GenChrist will be attending the Scythian performance at The Ark on Monday, July 27 at 8:00 p.m.  We hope you all can join us!  Scythian plays kicked-up Celtic, folk and world music, and they deliver it with a high-energy, punk-rock sensibility.  Their live shows are awesome!  I will be selling tickets for $12.50 during our fellowship hour.

As many of you know, one of the highlights of Scythian's musical career thus far was their World Youth Day performance last summer in Sydney, Australia where they played for 250,000 young Catholics -- and the Holy Father!  This week's video is from that performance.  Enjoy!

Scythian Video of the Week #3:
"Chava Nagila", "South Australia" and "The Shouting Song" from World Youth Day 2008!
