This Saturday, our Diocese of Lansing clergy will expand with the ordination of Permanent and Transitional Deacons. Those to be ordained include Tom Wasilewski and Mathias Thelen, who came to speak to us last Sunday. All are invited to attend this joyous celebration for our local Church. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Earlier today, the Holy Father began his first pilgrimage to the Holy Land since his election as Bishop of Rome. The planned itinerary begins in Amman, Jordan and will also include stops at the site where it is believed that Jesus was baptised, at the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem and at the Nativity Grotto in Bethlehem, among others.
